OPPO AirVOOC 65W: Released the first ultra-fast wireless charging teaser

Although wireless charging for smartphones has been commercially available for a long time, due to the generally low charging power, its practical value has always been seen as lower than wired charging.

Having said that, in April OPPO brought the most powerful wireless charging technology in the world, we are talking about a 40 W wireless flash charging that we find on board the OPPO Ace2. The new technology has therefore brought wireless and wired charging closer to some extent.

Apparently, however, 45W are no longer enough for OPPO, which now aims at a power of 65W. The news had come directly from the brand that held one conference on the different charging technologies at the beginning of the month, specifying precisely that the next step will be 65W wireless charging.

As you know, at the moment the fastest wired charging technology available on the market (for smartphones) is the 2.0 W SuperVOOC 65, the charging technology on the OPPO Reno, Find and Ace series. So wireless charging should match wired charging in the near future.

In any case, today the brand has released a new video teaser that promotes 65 W wireless charging technology. In the video we can see how the 65 W wireless flash charging can recharge a 4000 mAh battery in about 30 minutes. We are therefore talking about a faster wireless technology than the wired one of many flagships of other brands currently on the market.

With this impressive enough power it will no longer be possible to say that wireless charging is less practical than wired charging because it is slower. This should also mean that technology will become increasingly common and used by the masses. So a big step forward for wireless charging advocates.

What can I say, OPPO continues to remain one of the most technologically advanced companies in terms of fast charging. Now we just have to wait for the technology to be marketed so we can test it.
