This month promises to be succulent for the sub-brand of Oppo which is about to present two terminals belonging to diametrically opposed bands. If on the one hand we have the flagship that smacks of best buy, or the Realme X2 Pro with its processor Snapdragon 855 Pluson the other hand we have the entry level Realme 5S, with one on board Snapdragon 665. It is the latter that appears on the database today Geekbench, historical platform that deals with the benchmarks of almost all the devices of the most disparate brands. We knew right away that this device would not present itself as a top model and we have confirmation of this thanks to the scores that came out of its benchmark, scores that came out two days after its presentation (together with that of ColorOS 7).
The entry level Realme 5S Geekbench scores
A few days ago we have you spoilerato what hides the body of this smartphone: we talked about one Snapdragon 665, of a battery from 5000 mAh, of a quad cam formed by sensors with 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 megapixels and a IPS display, therefore without unlocking with a fingerprint integrated on the screen. Just referring to the display we noticed how unfortunate it was to have opted for only one HD + resolution. With today we close, almost completely, the circle of the most important information, looking forward to the fundamental one: the price.
As seen in the image, Realme 5S scored a score of 314 in the single-core test e 1386 in the multi-core test. As we know everything will be moved by Android 9 Pie: the coming of the tenth release of the operating system is still far away, unless Oppo surprises us bring it together with ColorOS 7. But even in this case, we do not know the date on which the device in question will receive the update.
Unlike what we previously told you, the Realme 5S could do not support 4/6 GB RAM configurations, but 3/4 GB. In the image we see how the tested device has a memory 4 GB RAM. As far as internal storage is concerned, we still don't know how much it will amount to, but rumors suggest that models will be put on the market by 32 and 64 GB, expandable up to 256 GB thanks to a slot for the micro SD. The same rumors would also confirm the price: there is talk of 8999 Indian rupees, at the current exchange rate around 110 €. In fact, such a price would be appropriate for the type of device, indeed, considering a quad camera of this level we would be surprised if it were really so.
What do you expect?
