Realme is the spin-off company of OPPO, particularly appreciated for its products thanks to the excellent quality / price ratio to which they are offered on the market. At the beginning, it was only an entry level smartphone and then even real top of the range was launched. Now the company has certainly matured compared to its debut and therefore the time has come to further detach itself from the parent company, proposing its own interface, RealmeOS, which will arrive next year and of which an official roadmap is already available with dates and devices affected.
The announcement is made on Twitter by the CEO of Realme, but at the moment it is not known whether the name of the personalized UI will actually be RealmeOS or anything else, the fact that the manager wanted to offer a preview of what we should expect from here shortly. Madhav Sheth, therefore confirmed that RealmeOS will arrive from January 2020, that the operating system will be Android 10 and that of course much of the work will be based on ColorOS 7, thus improving the management of RAM, giving optimizations in terms of gaming, design renewed and an experience close to what Android Stock currently offers us.
RealmeOS will be done. Here is the roadmap of the official release
- January 2020 - Realme 3 Pro and Realme XT
- February 2020 - Realme X and Realme 5 Pro
- March 2020 - Realme X2 Pro
- April 2020 - Realme 3 and Realme 3i
- May 2020 - Realme 5 and Realme 5s
- June 2020 - Realme 2 Pro
- Q3 2020 - Realme C2
Probably there will not be many detachments from ColorOS 7, which will debut on December 18 on the company's flagships and which has been officially presented in India today. Probably the previous roadmap dedicated to Realme's release of ColorOS7 will be canceled to tackle everything on the new UI. One thing is certain, Realme is showing that in a short time you can reach the apex of the rankings and awards, offering technology at the right price. Are people tired of paying only for the brand?
