After a long wait full of leaks, rumors and anticipations, the Realme X50 Pro was finally officially presented today. The Realme flagship arrives with really captivating specifications, even if the price seems to have increased compared to the predecessors, most likely due to the presence of 5G connectivity. In any case, let's find out more!
Official Realme X50 Pro with Snapdragon 865 5G, 90Hz screen and much more
The Realme X50 Pro arrives, as from teaser, with a not too large screen, we are talking about a 6,44-inch diagonal panel; which may please many. The same goes for the above-average refresh rate at 90Hz and the brightness of over 1000 nits. The display also supports the HDR10 + and has a 100% DCI-P3 and 105% NTSC color gamut. Inside the quality screen we also find a latest generation fingerprint sensor (G3.0); for an unlock in just 0,27 seconds.
As for performance, the X50 Pro is powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G. As the name suggests, the CPU supports next generation 5G connectivity. Specifically, we have support for NSA / SA networks and the n1 / n41 / n78 / n79 bands. Also for connectivity we have WiFi 6, with a theoretical maximum transmission speed
of 9,6 Gbps, equivalent to a download speed of 1,2 GB / s; 40% faster than the previous Wi-Fi generation (WiFi 5).
The high performance CPU is supported by LPDDR5 RAM. This type of RAM is about 2 times faster than the first version of the LPDDR4 and 50% faster when compared to the high frequency LPDDR4x. The internal memory is instead of UFS 3.0 type and is accompanied by Turbo Write technologies for write speeds of up to 730-760MB / s, and HPB (Host Performance Booster) to reach 1700-1900MB / s in reading. Both LPDDR5 and UFS 3.0 technology increase performance and at the same time decrease consumption. In any case, the maximum configuration available is 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.
All the hardware just mentioned will be cooled by a "five-dimensional" steam chamber system. This system brings a dissipation increased by 339% compared to the previous series, so as to obtain the best possible performance at any time.
Together with the flagship dissipation, the smartphone also supports a true top of the range charging technology. The Realme X50 Pro arrives with SuperDart, a fast charging technology that supports a maximum power of 65W. This allows you to recharge the built-in 4200mAh battery from zero to 100% in just 35 minutes.
From a photographic point of view, the X50 Pro equips a total of six cameras; four on the back and two on the front. Let's start with the rear ones that include a main 64MP, Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor with a sensor size of 1 / 1,72 inches and a focal aperture of f / 1,8. The camera supports Quad Bayer's 4 n 1 binning pixels; a technology that combines
four adjacent pixels in a single 1,6μm large pixel, improving the resolution and quality of images taken even in low light conditions.
The main sensor is then accompanied by an ultra wide angle camera with a 119 degree view and 8MP resolution. We have a 12MP telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom, 5X hybrid optical zoom and 20X hybrid zoom. Finally, there is a Black & White sensor that assists the main sensor to capture a wider range of colors and more light for brighter and sharper images.
Among other specifications, we find the dual super linear speaker system, or two high quality stereo speakers; tactile linear motor, a more advanced vibration system; NFC with support for Google pay and Dual-Band GPS (L1 + L5).
For prices, Realme it only communicated those for the Spanish market, which will almost certainly also remain for the Italian market. So let's talk about 599 euros for 8GB / 128GB, 669 euros for 8GB / 256GB and 749 euros for 12GB / 256GB.
