Chinese smartphone maker Realme has just released the first 5G-enabled device: the Realme X50 5G. The smartphone also adopts many other innovative technologies that make it a truly exceptional medium range; let's find out together!
Realme X50 5G is official with Snapdragon 765G and 6 cameras
Let's start with the display, a 6,57-inch diagonal LCD panel with Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080), screen-to-body ratio (screen / body ratio) of 90,4% and maximum brightness of 480 nits. But the most interesting feature is the refresh rate, which as rumors suggested is in fact 120Hz. So we will have a smoother user experience than a 60Hz or 90Hz panel. Also on the display we finally have a pill hole in the upper left corner inside which the two front cameras are positioned.
Since we are on the subject of cameras, on the device we find a total of six. The rear four include the main 64MP, Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor, accompanied by an 8MP with ultra wide angle lens, a 12MP telephoto with 2X zoom and a 2MP macro lens. As for the two front cameras instead, the smartphone adopts a 16MP camera with f / 2.0 aperture and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens.
Moving on to the internal hardware. The Realme X50 G arrives with the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, a mid-range CPU with high performance and which integrates a 5G modem. There will therefore be support for dual mode 5G, for the n1 / n41 / n78 / n79 bands. This chip is produced with 7nm technology and EUV process with a consumption reduction of about 35%. Graphics performance instead increased by 40% compared to the previous generation, while at the level of AI computing power, we have a 100% improvement. Obviously there is no shortage of different software features to increase performance within video games both to increase fluidity and decrease possible crashes.
The new CPU is then coupled with a minimum of 6GB and a maximum of 12GB of LPDDR4X type RAM. While the internal memory ranges from 128GB to 256GB and is of the UFS 2.1 type.
Another quite interesting technology on the Realme X50 5G is charging. On the smartphone we find the VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge Enhanced Edition, therefore an improved version of the VOOC 4.0. This allows you to recharge your smartphone by 70% in about 30 minutes, with a maximum power of 30W (5V / 6A). The battery itself has a capacity of 4200mAh instead.
Finally, among the other features we find a side fingerprint sensor, Dual frequency GPS, 1216 type speaker and an NFC module.
As for prices, the Realme X50 5G has a starting price of 2499 Yuan (320 €) for the 8GB + 128GB version; 2699 Yuan (€ 350) to have 6GB + 256GB; 2999 Yuan (380 €) if you want 12GB + 256GB and finally 3099 Yuan (400 €) for the top version with 12GB + 256GB (Master Edition). The smartphone will officially go on sale on January 14th.
