Realme 5i also certified in Singapore, imminent presentation?

After getting well four certifications a few weeks ago, the Realme 5i was today caught on the official website of the IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority), which is the telecommunications regulatory body in Singapore. But the Realme 5i was not alone, the Realme C3 was also certified with him.

Realme 5i also certified in Singapore, imminent presentation?

Realme 5i

As we can see in the image above, the certification of the Realme 5i dates back to 20 December 2019. In the certificate we are unable to find any interesting info, if not some basic specifications that we always expect to find on a smartphone as a support for LTE network, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. The same also applies to the Realme C3 whose certification dates back to 23 May. In fact, several media outlets speculated that it was actually the C2 presented in the same period.

In any case, returning to Realme 5i, this will be added to the various Realme 5, 5s and 5 Pro currently on the market. But as the suffix "i" after 5 suggests, here we will most likely be dealing with a less performing device.

So if for example Realme 5 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, we can speculate that version 5i would see a downgrade to a chipset like Snapdragon 636 if Realme decides to stay with Qualcomm and Helio P60 (or Helio P70) if the company decides to go with MediaTek. The CPU will then be accompanied by at least 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory expandable via microSD card.

On board the Realme 5i we will then find at least 3 rear cameras, which represent a middle ground between the Realme 5 with four and the Realme 3 series where instead we only find two. The photographic sector on board the Realme 5 series is also its strong point, so at least we won't have to see further cuts.

Finally, we expect to find a large 5000mAh battery as on the older brothers and 3.5mm audio jacks.
