Oppo Reno4 and Reno4 Pro official in China, everything is focused on videos!
Let's start with design as always. The Reno4 series adopts a perforated OLED screen design and a three-camera module on the back. The smartphone will be available in crystal diamond blue / dream mirror black / taro purple for the basic version and Titanium blanks and midsummer fluorescent for the Pro version. In terms of size, the Reno4 measures 159,3 × 74 × 7,8 mm and it weighs 183 grams; while Reno4 Pro measures 159,6 × 72,5 × 7,6 mm and weighs only 172 grams.
Turning to the specifications, we have the Oppo Reno4 which arrives with a 6,4-inch AMOLED screen with 2400 × 1080 resolution and double hole in the upper left where we find two 32MP and 2MP cameras. On the back we have the three cameras with resolutions of 48MP for the main, 8MP for the ultra wide angle and 2MP for the depth sensor. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G as a processor, coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128GB or 256 GB of internal memory. Finally we have a battery with a capacity of 4020 mAh with support for Oppo super fast charging with a maximum power of 65W.
As for the older brother, the Reno4 Pro, the device is equipped with a 6,5-inch AMOLED screen, with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a resolution of 2400 × 1080. This is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, RAM memory 8GB or 12GB and 128 or 256GB storage space. The cameras include a 32MP front, and three 48MP rear for the main, 12MP for ultra wide angle and 13MP for the one with 3x telephoto zoom. Once again we find a 4000mAh battery with 65W flash charging support.
Oppo's Reno4 series is advertised as the ideal one for creating videos. This especially for the presence, at least in the Pro version, of an ultra-wide-angle lens with an IMX708 sensor customized by Sony. This sensor shoots 16: 9 video, large pixels (four in one) and an ultra wide field of view of 120 degrees.
Among other software features, the Oppo Reno4 series stands out for the first "moonlit night video algorithm" developed at home. Both the main camera and the ultra wide angle lens will support the new feature. This, once activated, will increase the brightness of the recorded images by about 74,4% when shooting scenes at night, with an increase in details of 33,7%. Thus allowing users to shoot easily in low light conditions.
In addition, the Chinese giant has announced that this feature will be open to various third-party video recording applications. This means that users will be able to use the feature to improve videos in the dark even on applications such as tiktok, Instagram and many others.
