Oppo Ace 2 has no more secrets: here are the photos and specifications from TENAA

One of the positive things that Oppo cannot absolutely blame is that it uses the surprise factor well. We explain ourselves better: unlike other brands that bring out product news with the dropper, Oppo tends to always give it in the right measure. In this way they are neither "harmful to the mental health of users" full of expectations, nor are they too few. Let's talk about Oppo ace 2. Yes, you read that correctly: we omitted Reno from the name because apparently the device will not belong to this series. The CEO of the brand gives us this clue via Weibo.

Oppo Ace 2 may not be called Reno: here are the photos from TENAA

This morning the first official photographs from theChinese certification body TENAA. It is from here that the first certifications that precede the entry on the smartphone market normally start. Let's see theOppo (Reno) Ace 2 before figuring out why we no longer use this name from the top series.

Let's see the front first, although there is well poco to say. Now the design of the top of the range is more and more similar. We have indeed one single punch hole camera, common to all smartphones in this range; the curious thing is that the sensor appears significantly larger than normal. Maybe it will be a camera with great optics and therefore with a more pixels. We'll see.

Confirmed is the Oreo camera behind: a round traffic light that integrates four photographic sensors. Speculating on the type of sensor and how many megapixels they will have is superfluous, but without a doubt we will see an exceptional quality of shots as it was for Oppo Find X2 Pro. A difference with the first Ace is the logo: this, in'Oppo Reno Ace 2 is presented in the center but horizontally and not vertically as before. Also in the center of the body, between the logo and the cameras, they would be the other writings we previously found were absent.

Ultimately this device is the same but different from the others. Without doubt, the rear Oreo sensors are a breath of fresh air for the brand. But now we come to the name: why will not be part of the Reno series? We understand this from the post that CEO Shen Yi Ren posted on the Chinese social network Weibo.

shen yi ren confirms oppo reno ace 2

Under its name, the device from which the user writes is written in blue. IS' the word Reno is absent, as we said: this could only be a coincidence but many speculate that the Ace 2 will make its debut as the first of a new series. Beyond this, we have confirmation that the device will support the 5G connection and will have a Guinness touch feedback, having regard to the collaboration with ELP. Do we want to continue? From the information revealed by the TENAA certification portal, the code name of the device is PDHM000. You may not remember it but this device has already been certified by Wi-Fi Alliance announcement two weeks ago! From this certification we only know that it will integrate a module for the Wi-Fi 6 and that will leave the factory with Android 10.
