We saw the new one the day after Christmas Oppo Reno 3 Pro released in China. We were stunned by the hardware and the designs but above all we were on the thorns for the arrival in Europe. At least until today, the day when the same device made its debut in India. As we all know, the release in India corresponds to the arrival of the smartphone also in our homeland. You will say, but where is the news? After all, we already know everything about him: this is where you are wrong. The Reno 3 Pro you know has some substantial differences compared to the "new" one. Let's see them together.
The international version of Oppo Reno 3 Pro has finally made its debut even outside of China
First of all, the difference at the heart of these devices is the connection: while the China device is enabled for the 5G network, the one just presented in India is only in 4G version. This is because not all countries have super fast network coverage. A change that we notice immediately, looking at it from the front is the panel: while the Reno 3 Pro 5G (China) has a display with curved edges; 4G, or the international one, has a flat panel without curved edges. Both are of the type Super AMOLED. Joy for many, pain for some.
One difference related to this variation is the lack, in the international, the refresh rate at 90Hz. In fact, the device will stop at 60Hz. At the processor level, as previously announced, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P95 (octa-core formed by two Cortex-A75 e four Cortex-A55): to be precise is the first in the world to mount it and therefore placed a big responsibility on himself: to make all the users who cannot digest the fact that the Taiwanese company has returned to the rescue think again.
As we see in the image, the rear photographic compartment is made up of four sensors 64 (main) + 13 (tele) + 2 (macro) + 8 (ultrawide) megapixels
In addition to the possibility of taking excellent photos in bokeh mode, you can also shoot videos in the same mode. It is also an enhanced Selfie Mode and an Ultra Night that will allow you to take photos at night as if we were in the sunlight. We then have one 2X optical zoom (OIS), a hybrid zoom up to 5X it's one digital zoom up to 20X guaranteed by the tele camera. Earlier we will find two cameras punch hole type: one from well 44 megapixel and the secondary from 2 megapixel. Battery from 4025 mAh rechargeable through technology 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0.
As for the operating system, in addition to the things we already know which ones ColorOS 7 and Android 10, the device will already have support Widevine L1. This means that all the streaming content of the biggest platforms like Netflix o Amazon Prime Video will be available immediately.
There are only three colors available, all shaded: Auroral Blue, Midnight Black and Sky White. Let's move on to prices: in India the version 8 GB of RAM 128 GB internal storage costs 29.990 rupees, equivalent to the current exchange rate at 370€. The maximum configuration instead, that is from 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB internal memory costs 32.990 rupees, that is 407 €. Not bad for the type of hardware and overall specifications. In any case, the sale will start in the country only on 6 March.
At the moment we are not informed when it will arrive on the European market, but we are sure that within a month or two we will find it on the shelves. Stay tuned to find out if we will have exclusive discounts.
