The periscope camera was then supported by an ultra wide with a resolution of 8 MP and a main camera of 48 MP. Having said that, although there were three cameras, until now it was only possible to shoot videos with the main sensor.

Well, as you may have already guessed from the title, the new ColorOS 7.1 update released today will allow us to shoot videos with all three sensors.

So, we can finally also use the fantastic camera with a periscope lens to get an optical zoom of 5x, a hybrid of 10x hybrid and a digital zoom of up to 30x. We can admire how it all works in this video released by the SubZuda GR Youtube channel:

In any case, although it is possible to shoot videos with ultra wide sensors and telephoto, the smartphone supports a maximum resolution of 1080p and a frame rate of 30 fps. If you want to shoot videos at the maximum resolution of 4K and 60fps, you will need to use the 48MP main camera.

We specify that this new function arrives in the update with the version number PCCM00_11_C.24, currently being implemented in China. The ColorOS 7.1 is available outside of China, but not yet for the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom.
