Chinese smartphone maker OPPO kept its word last April by releasing the new update to ColorOS 7 for the OPPO R15. The new build will be based on Android 10 and will bring many new features.
OPPO R15 receives ColorOS 7 based on Android 10
Among the most interesting features we have the native dark mode of the Google home operating system. The user interface has also been renewed, the icons are now customizable, we have an optimized choice of colors and new sound effects. As if that were not enough, all the special editions of smartphones will receive new personalized backgrounds, in addition to a "refined desktop experience" and a new system font called Oppo Sans.
The new update also brings some improvements to some main functionality. We have in fact the new Portrait Mode 2.0 (portrait mode), the Enhanced Night Mode and the Super Steady Mode for recording ultra stabilized videos. We will also find a Smart Sidebar to open apps in split-screen mode and the more optimized Floating Window and that works with many more apps.
We quickly recall that the OPPO R15 released in March 2018 is equipped with a 6,28-inch display with a resolution of 1080 × 2280 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 60 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P6771 (MT2) processor, supported by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of integrated storage space (which can be increased via microSD card up to 256 GB).
As for the cameras, we have a 16 megapixel camera accompanied by a 5MP secondary one that captures data on the depth of the head. While in front we find a 20MP selfie cam. Finally, the OPPO R15 is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 3450 mAh, measures 155,10 x 75,20 x 7,40 mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 175,00 grams.
You can find more information about the update directly on the official forum of the manufacturer (in English).
