Just yesterday we reported a leak which showed us all the specifications of Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro. As always, however, until an official confirmation we can not give an info for sure. Well, today that confirmation seems to have come precisely from Oppo's CEO, Brian Shen.
The CEO "confirms" the presence of LPDDR4 RAM on Oppo Find X2
The Chinese businessman would have spoken of the different types of RAM on Weibo, the Twitter of the Asian country. Specifically, he said that:
The performance of LPDDR4X and LPDDR5 with the same 1nm production process does not show any significant difference, but it is much better (the LPDDR5 RAM) compared to the older LPDDR4 generation (we are talking about results obtained in benchmark software that we often see).
Now, it is undeniable that the new generation is much better than the previous generation. What I mean to say is that it makes sense to focus on specifications and technology, but we should look at the real-life performance of the entire device rather than just thinking about the theoretical improvement of the technology.

Brian Shen then added that:
The difference exists when it can be perceived. I don't think anyone can sense the difference between LPDDR4X and LPDDR5. However, it is clear that the new technology is definitely more advanced than the previous one.
Furthermore, this does not mean not clearly informing the consumer that he obviously has the right to know the truth.

So, in summary, the CEO of Oppo seems to have confirmed that at least the cheaper version of the Find X2 series will be equipped with LPDDR4 type RAM. News that we gave just yesterday when we reported the leak with all the specifications of the upcoming flagships.
This should also suggest that the other data leaked online are also very reliable. On the Find X2 we will therefore find a 6.67-inch screen with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 as processor, 4200 battery and much more.
