In the previous weeks, however, the smartphone had been seen in several leaks, but unfortunately no official confirmation has ever arrived. Well, in a sense the situation changes today, after Oppo's vice president and co-founder, Shen Yiren, shared a very interesting message on the Chinese social network Weibo.

In fact, Shen Yiren said “Why are the rear cameras of smartphones located in the upper left in most cases? In addition to worsening the aesthetic factor, they cause two main problems: bad efficiency in the use of space and bad efficiency in heat dissipation. This is especially true when dealing with large image sensors ”.

Now, in itself, this message doesn't mean much. But if we go to see some of the previously leaked images we discover that in reality we have already seen a design as Shen Yiren would like.

Let's talk about the above image that came out a few days ago and which in theory portrayed the Oppo Find X2. So, Shen Yiren's release may have confirmed that that leak is real.

Among other things, the somewhat innovative design that Oppo would bring is supported by unprecedented hardware. We are talking about the Sony IMX689 sensor developed exclusively between Oppo and Sony. This will be the first sensor with "all-pixel omnidirectional focusing" technology and a resolution of 48MP. But the most interesting data is the physical size of the sensor itself, we are talking about 1 / 1.3 inches.

As for the other features that we will find on board the Find X2. The smartphone will arrive with a 2K + screen, 120Hz refresh rate and the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 as a processor, coupled with at least 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.0 internal memory. Finally, we will have support for the next generation 5G network thanks to the Snapdragon X55 dual mode NSA and SA modem.
