OPPO dominates the AnTuTu ranking for the top and middle of the range

With the month of July behind us, the time has come to review the AnTuTu statistics ranging from 1 July to 31 July 2020. We would like to remind you that the results of the list include the average scores calculated instead of the highest scores ever obtained. In addition, there are at least 1000 tests per device that rely on AnTuTu in version 8 and, if the smartphone is available in multiple versions, the one with the highest score will be shown.

Going to the list, also for the month of July the results obtained by OPPO are extremely positive. The brand not only grabs the first two places, but also sees the Realme sub-brand being part of the list, for a total of four smartphones branded OPPO within the top 10.

Let's start the smartphone in first place, which remains the OPPO Find X2 Pro as in the previous months, this time with an average score of 613048. For the uninitiated, the fact that OPPO is in first position is an absolute novelty as the brand has always stood out for its design and photographic sector, and definitely less for its performance. But the combination of Snapdragon 865 CPU, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 memory seems to have worked out great. As if that weren't enough, the X2 Pro also comes with a 3K resolution screen and 120 Hz refresh rate that offers an extraordinary visual experience, not yet achieved by any competitor.

In any case, the model in second place is the OPPO Find X2, with an average score of 606490. The configuration of this device is basically the same as the older brother in first place, except for the fact that it finds a slightly less photographic sector high-end and LPDDR5 RAM replaced by LPDDR4x. But apparently there is not all this difference in performance with over 600.000 points, so those who think that the Pro version is a bit expensive, you can always choose the standard version of the Find X2 which will still be a good choice.

As for the rest of the ranking, we find the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition with an average score of 601706. which takes the place of the standard version of the K30 Pro. While the remaining models include the Xiaomi 10 Pro (average score 600840), iQOO Neo3 (average score 596141), OPPO ACE2 (average score 595408), vivo X50 Pro + (average score 595404), really X50 Pro (average score of 588837), Meizu 17 Pro (average score of 587483), iQOO 3 (average score of 587087).

Like every month, AnTutu has also released the same list for mid-range smartphones. Here too, the OPPO Reno3, which has long dominated the mid-range performance list, has once again regained top spot for this month. Her average score is 442965, which is a significant increase over the previous month's average score. At present, MediaTek's Dimensity 1000L continues to dominate the AntuTu ranking. One could almost say that the new SoCs of MediaTek should be part of the top of the range category, but given that the prices are very cheap, they manage to fall into the mid-ranger category and take all three top positions.

After the Reno3 of OPPO we find the Redmi 10X 5G, which was in first place last month, with an average score of 398015. The smartphone arrives with a MediaTek Dimensity 820 as processor which will be an exclusive of the brand for a long time. AnTuTu also measured a score of around 400.000 for the chip, which is one of the best performances for the mid-range.

In any case, the Reno3 manages to come out on top as the Dimensity 1000L still relies on the best performing A77 + G77 cores to beat the Dimensity 820 in terms of CPU and GPU. The latter is useful mainly for the UX score and for the storage performance.

Finally, the third classified model is the Redmi 10X Pro 5G with an average score of 397214. The main difference between the Pro version and the standard version is the camera and fast charging, while the performance is very similar.
