After weeks of rumors and leaks, the new Oppo Ace2 has finally become official today. Among the main features we find a screen with 90Hz refresh rate, 65W wired charging, Snapdragon 865 and much more; let's find out more!
Official Oppo Ace2 with Snapdragon 865 and 40W wireless charging
Let's start with the component that we are going to see first how much we take in hand a smartphone, or the display. Here Oppo has decided to maintain the already high 90Hz refresh rate of its predecessor, the Reno Ace, coupled with a touch sampling frequency of 180Hz. As for the dimensions instead, we find a large 6,5-inch diagonal AMOLED panel, with Full HD + resolution (2400 × 1080), aspect ratio of 20: 9 and maximum brightness of 500nit. Also in the display we then have a hole in the top left inside which there is a 16MP front camera and focal aperture (f / 2.4)
Passing on the back, here we find a circular module with a total of four cameras. These include a 48MP main camera, Sony IMX586 sensor, an 8MP ultra wide angle lens with a 119 degree field of view, and two telephoto lenses with a 2MP color and black and white sensor to capture as much depth data as possible of field.
From the performance point of view, the Oppo Ace2 is equipped with the modern and performing Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 accompanied by 8GB or 12GB of RAM (of the LPDDR5 type if 12GB, LPDDR4x if 8GB) and 128GB or 256GB of internal memory UFS 3.0 with Turbo function Write.
As for autonomy instead, Oppo's Ace2 adopts a 4.000mAh battery, therefore relatively below average compared to other smartphones released in recent months. On the positive side, however, there is support for ultra-fast SuperVOOC 2.0 charging with a power of 65W which allows us to recharge it from 0% to 100% in just 30 minutes. In addition, Oppo has brought an almost surreal wireless charging technology called AirVOOC, we are talking about a power of 40W. So even without cables we can fully charge the smartphone in 56 minutes.
AirVOOC only works through a proprietary charger (image above, cost € 30 per change), while if you have the most common Qi wireless charger, you can recharge it to a maximum of 10W.
Among the other features on board Oppo Ace2 we find 5G connectivity, WiFi 6, NFC and ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10 as an operating system.
The Oppo Ace 2 has a starting price of 3999 Yuan (520 €) for the 8/128 GB model, it rises to 4399 Yuan (570 €) for the 8/256 GB model and finally to have 12/256 GB 4599 Yuan (599 €) will have to be paid.
