Many await the wonders of the new OPPO Ace 2 but we know that the Chinese company is working on an additional 5G smartphone, belonging to the mid-range market, which could be talked about as it could prove to be the first device to be equipped with MediaTek's new 5G processor, the Dimensity 800. OPPO A92s has the PDKM00 as model number, which in these hours has shown itself in the Geekbench branchmark database, showing all the power generated by the new MediaTek SoC. Among the details that we can appreciate from the test result, it emerges that OPPO A92s will boast Android 10 out-of-the-box and 8 GB of RAM.
The result of the benchmark on Geekbench, reveals that the MT6873 chipset better known as MediaTek Dimensity 800, gets 2504 points in the single-core test and 8130 in the multi-core test even surpassing Redmi K30 5G.

OPPO A92s 5G with Dimensity 800 appears on Geekbench
Therefore we deduce that the Dimensity 800 5G chipset assumes similar if not superior performance to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G and the Kirin 820 5G. In fact, the scores obtained by the other two processors are: 2891 in the single-core test and 7758 in the multi-core test for the Snapdragon 765G while the Kirin 820 scored 2987 in the single-core test and 9395 in the multi-test.
Given that the benchmark results are only used to provide summary indications on the real performance, the results obtained by the new MediaTek chip may be untrue by virtue of the recent scandal that saw the chipset manufacturer as protagonist.
Recall that at the moment of OPOO A92s we know that it will be equipped with an LCD panel from 6,57 inches with double hole for the 2 selfie cameras of 16 megapixels + 2 megapixels. The LCD panel will support 120Hz refresh rate. On the back of the phone we will find a quadruple camera with a 48 megapixel primary sensor and a 4000 mAh battery. Among the memory cuts we will have 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space with a semi-official price of 2499 yuan, or around 326 euros at current exchange rates. A price that collides with the cousin Realme 6 (at least in Italy).
