Week increasingly dedicated to the Serie A of Oppo. After presenting the Oppo A52 yesterday and the A12 the day before, the German site WinFuture today also revealed the Oppo A72. A somewhat interesting mid-range device; let's find out more!

Let's start with the aesthetic part, which as we can see does not differ much from the younger brother, the A52. In fact, we find a gradient type back cover with the module for the four cameras and the LED flash on the top left. Always at the top left, but on the front, we have the hole on the display with the camera instead. Finally, there is also the fingerprint sensor combined with the on and off button on the right side.
Going to the specifications, the Oppo A72 comes with a 6,5-inch diagonal display and Full HD + resolution (2.400 x 1.080 pixels, also similar to A52 here). While to power it all we think a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, then a mid-range processor, coupled with 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X type RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal memory (expandable via microSDXC card).
As for the photographic sector, the new mid-ranger adopts a total of four cameras on the back. These include a main having 48MP resolution, Sony IMX586 sensor, with focal aperture of f / 1,8 pixel size of 0.8µm and PDAF. The other sensors have a resolution of 8MP for the ultra wide angle, 2MP for the macro lens and 2MP for the depth of field sensor which is used to create photos with bokeh effect. For selfies we find instead a 16MP camera.
From the autonomy point of view, Oppo's A72 adopts a huge 5000mAh battery. There is also support for fast charging at the maximum power of 18W through the USB Type-C port at the bottom. USB Type-C port which fortunately does not let go of the 3,5mm audio jack which therefore remains.
Other specifications on board the terminal include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, dual-band, A-GPS and runs with ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10.
