After seeing it in several leaks, the OPPO A72 5G has just been presented in China without an official presentation. The A72 5G is a mid-range 5G smartphone that adopts a MediaTek Dimensity 720 as a processor. Let's start with the prices, the OPPO A72 5G was launched in China in a single variant, with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of integrated memory and a price of CNY 1.899, or about 230 euros at the current exchange rate. There are three color variations to choose from: Neon, Oxygen Violet and Simple Black.
Turning to the specifications, the new OPPO mid-ranger comes with a 6,5-inch diagonal panel, IPS type and with Full HD + resolution, to be precise 2.400 x 1.080. As we said earlier, the device has a high refresh rate above the average of 90Hz. The display is also perforated with a single camera in the upper left corner; this camera has a resolution of 8MP. On the back we find a 2.5D curved glass (most likely Corning Gorilla Glass).
As far as performance is concerned, the OPPO A72 5G is powered by the new mid-range processor released by MediaTek, the Dimensity 720 5G, combined with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. While for the software side, the A72 5G arrives with the latest Android 10 operating system with the ColorOS 7.2 skin developed by the brand. The whole is then powered by a battery with a capacity of 4.040 mAh, which supports fast charging with a maximum power of 18W through the USB Type-C port.
Finally, from the photography point of view, the OPPO A72 5G boasts a triple rear camera on the back, which includes a 16MP main camera, an 8MP wide angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
