Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has just officially unveiled the new “A” series in Italy, this includes the Oppo A52, A72 and A91; let's find out more!
Oppo A52, A72 and A91 officially presented in Italy
Oppo A52
Let's start with the two cheapest, namely the Oppo A52 and A72, which actually share more than you expect. The two smartphones both come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, with the A72 equipping 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, while the Oppo A52 comes with a maximum of 64GB of storage. Both for A52 and A72 the internal memory is of the UFS 2.1 type, on the CPU side we find instead features such as Hyper Boost efficiently improves the performance of the device at the system level.
This hardware will power a 6,5-inch diagonal “Neo-Display” featuring a built-in front camera. The smartphone then has a screen / body ratio of 90,5% and only 1,73 mm of contours on the left and right. The resolution of the display is 2400×1080 pixels, with a pixel density of 405 PPI to achieve an ultra-immersive visual experience. There is also the Eye Protection Certification of TüV Rheinland and the Eye Care Mode which is able to effectively filter the blue light of the screen, significantly reducing eye damage and ensuring greater comfort during use.
Oppo A72
As for the photographic sector instead, we find a Quad Camera equipped with 48 MP AI on Oppo A72. The Ultra HD main camera with sensor from
½” and f/1.7 focal aperture ensures high resolution imaging capability, this is then assisted by an 8 MP Ultra Wide Angle camera, 119,1° field of view and wide angle distortion optimization, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor to take photos with the bokeh effect. The Oppo A52 differs only in the presence of a 12MP main camera instead of 48MP.
In any case, Oppo has ported Night Mode 2.0 to Oppo A72 to create a single image of a night scene by combining 3-8 images of different darkness, optimizing the clarity and sharpness of the final product.
The two mid-rangers then adopt a lateral fingerprint sensor, are powered by a 5000mAh battery and have support for 18W Fast Charge.
Moving on to the Oppo A91, the smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P70 which is flanked by 8 GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. All this powers a 6,4-inch AMOLED screen with drop notch, covered with Corning Gorilla Glass and Full HD + resolution (1080 x 2440). Here too we have a TÜV Rheinland certification for eye protection, while the screen / body ratio of the display is 90,7% with an aspect ratio of 20:9. While the thickness of the phone is only 7,9 mm for a weight of 172 grams.
But Oppo A91 focuses on cameras. Here in fact we find a four-camera configuration, which includes a 48MP main lens, an 8MP macro-wide angle lens, a 2MP monochrome camera and a 2MP depth sensor. While the front camera has a resolution of 16MP.
Finally, we have a 4000 mAh battery which is combined with VOOC 3.0 fast charging to be able to recharge 50 percent of the battery in just 30 minutes. Then there is the Game Boost 2.0 and other features such as Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, 3,5 mm audio jack and a third generation fingerprint sensor located below the display.
For prices, we have the Oppo A72 at 279 euros which will go on sale in Italy starting May 22nd. The Oppo A52 will be available for purchase at the price of €199 starting May 22nd. While the Oppo A91 will be available in Italy for 329 euros with 8GB of RAM 128GB of memory starting May 22nd.
