OPPO A12: the entry level of the brand that takes inspiration from Realme

Among the brands that have always captured the attention of the most premium users we find OPPO, although its smartphone lineup includes many mid ranges, but never so far of the entry levels, on which the spinoff company has instead built its fortune Realme.

The Reno, Ace and Find X series are very famous and populate the medium-high end of the market with excellent success, but few know that the A series, sales champion in Asia, to which the OPPO A12 could be added soon, initially popped between the IMDA certification and in the GeekBench database, where we could learn that there will be two entry level models that the company could soon debut: OPPO A12 and A12e.

However, seeing the photo renders, one realizes how this time the master is to "copy" the pupil, as the rendering of A12 seems to be inspired very much by the textures that we have been able to appreciate in the Realme home terminals. In fact on the back we can appreciate a geometric texture, on a polycarbonate base.

Always on the rear we find a dual chamber characterized by a 13 MP sensor and aperture f/2.2 which is flanked by a second sensor for the collection of 2 MP depth data f/2.4, while on the front we find the now timeless drip notch which houses a 5 MP selfie camera f/ 2.0.

OPPO A12 will also offer a 6,22-inch screen in HD + resolution, embedded in a body with dimensions equal to 155.9 x 75.5 x 8.3 mm for 165 grams of weight. A really low weight if we consider that we will be dealing with a 4230 mAh battery, which net of the specifications should give a record autonomy, which should be one of the strengths of this device. Concluding the overview of the specifications, on board the OPPO entry level we will find a MediaTek Helio P35 processor assisted by 3/4 GB RAM memory cuts and 32/64 GB storage, all powered by the Android 10 operating system and probably still the "old" ColorOS interface 6.1.2.

The only thing missing is the unknown price… well the rumors suggest the arrival at an introductory price (at the current exchange rate) of about 129 euros. Not bad don't you think?
