New mysterious Realme smartphone appears on Geekbench with Helio P23 CPU

Realme's mid range portfolio is about to be implemented with the new Realme 6i, of which we have already been able to discover rumors thanks to the publication on the well-known online benchmark database Geekbench, as well as the official launch by the company itself which reveals the presence of a quad camera with 48 MP primary sensor. Yet it seems that Realme has a new smartphone in the pipeline, which has been appearing on the Geekbench website for a few hours.

The mysterious smartphone is presumed to always belong to the Realme 6 family, but this time it would be a variant equipped with MediaTek Helio P23 processor. The decision to bring yet another entry level to the market is not entirely obvious, as Realme 6i actually materializes better in the "high" range of the mid ranges, precisely because of the "gaming" processor used, therefore for those is looking for a simple but functional device, the new device could be the perfect choice.

The abbreviation that identifies this new Realme smartphone is similar to the one that identifies the 6 series, in fact with the standard version we found a RMX2001 nomenclature, while for the PRO one the abbreviation RMX 2061 and RMX2040 for the "i" variant. The new benchmark instead brings us back to a device with the RMX2021 acronym, powered by the Android 10 operating system.

The MediaTek Helio P23 processor, equipped on the mysterious Realme device, is a 1,7 GHz octacore solution, rather basic while no further specifications emerge on what we should expect, albeit further rumors enrich the news by reporting the presence of a display as key features 5,8 inches in 19,5: 9 format and HD + resolution. A super compact that however will adopt a 5010 mAh battery. What is the field test for Realme for the launch of a battery phone?
