After anticipating the ColorOS 7 roadmap earlier this year, the Chinese smartphone maker, Oppo, has finally released the new operating system for the first smartphones. Specifically, ColorOS 7 will be available for three devices of the Reno series, namely the Oppo Reno (and its Inspiration Edition), the Reno 10x Zoom (as well as the FC Barcelona Edition) and the Reno Ace (including the Gundam Edition) .
ColorOS 7 officially released for three Oppo Reno devices
The update is based on Android 10 and brings the native dark mode of the Google home operating system within the ColorOS of Oppo. The user interface has also been renewed, the icons are now customizable, we have an optimized choice of colors and new sound effects. As if that were not enough, all the special editions of smartphones will receive new personalized backgrounds, in addition to a "refined desktop experience" and a new system font called Oppo Sans.
The new update also brings some improvements to some main functionality. We have in fact the new Portrait Mode 2.0 (portrait mode), the Enhanced Night Mode and the Super Steady Mode for recording ultra stabilized videos. The update will arrive first on Chinese devices, after which, if no bugs are found, Oppo will release the new operating system also on global devices.
